The Authority spent US$175,000 to construct; 1x2 classroom block, 1x3 classroom block and 1 teacher’s house, and renovated an old 1x2 classroom block at Hamatuba Primary School.
Hamatuba School is located in Kota-kota area of Gwembe district in the Southern province of Zambia. Construction of the classroom blocks has improved the learning environment for the local pupils. Construction of additional classrooms has also accorded the school an opportunity to provide the entire primary education in one place, unlike in the past, where pupils were required to relocate to other schools to complete higher grades.
