Introduction
The Zambezi River Authority on behalf ofthe Zambezi River Basin Water Resources Managers and Dam Operators (ZAMDO), an institution, operating within the Zambezi River Basin, and which is made up of Administração Regional de Águas do Zambeze (Zambezi Regional Water Board, Mozambique or ARA-Zambeze), Zambezi River Authority (ZRA), Hidroelectrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), ZESCO Limited, Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC), and Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting for proposals from firms to provide website development consulting services.
Overall Objective
The overall objective of the consultancy services is among other things to encourage data and information exchange amongst the respective members within the Zambezi River Basin. The Zambezi River Basin is the largest water course in the Southern Africa and it is shared by eight countries. Its management requires joint effort and collaboration amongst the riverine states as well as the major water utilities.
Selection Method
Zambezi River Authority on behalf of ZAMDO, now invites proposals to provide the following consulting services: Website Development. A firm from either Mozambique, Zambia or Zimbabwe the will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and procedures.

Submission of Proposals
- A complete set of Request for Proposals (RfP) Documents may be purchased by interested firms upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMW100 cash.
- Firms shall submit their bids one (1) Original and three (3) copies in two separate sealed envelopes clear marked “ Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal”
- The offer comprising of the Technical and Financial Proposals sealed separately and clearly marked “Request for Proposals for Web development” must be deposited in the TENDER BOX at Zambezi River Authority, Kariba House, 5th Floor Kariba House, 32 Cha Cha Cha Road, Lusaka, onor before 16 September 2015, 1430hrs.
- Telegraphic and /or electronic offers shall not be accepted and proposals received after the deadline stipulated above shall not be accepted too.
