The Zambezi River Authority is a corporate body jointly and equally owned by the Governments of the Republics of Zambia and Zimbabwe (Contracting States). The Authority is mandated with the management of the Kariba Complex and the stretch of the Zambezi River forming a common border between the two Contracting States, from Kazungula to Luangwa in Zambia and from Kazungula to Kanyemba in Zimbabwe.
The Authority invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Two Elevators at Kariba House, Zambezi River Authority Head Office.
The scope of work will include:

Decommissioning of the existing elevators.

Supply of new elevators.

Installation of the new elevators.

Commissioning of the new elevators.
This tender is open to all bidders regardless of nationality. Bidding will be conducted using International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in accordance with the Authority’s Procurement Policy and Procedures.

The Site Visit and Pre-Bid Meeting will be held as follows:

Questions and requests for clarification regarding this tender must be submitted to the Authority in accordance with the provisions stated in the tender document.
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located on the 4th Floor, Club Chambers Building, Corner 3rd Street and Nelson Mandela Avenue, Harare.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ELEVATORS AT KARIBA HOUSE ZAMBEZI RIVER AUTHORITY HEAD OFFICE”
Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.Electronic offers/bids will not be accepted.
