The Zambezi River Authority (The Authority), a bilateral organisation owned by the Republics of Zambia and Zimbabwe and mandated to operate, monitor and maintain the Kariba Dam Complex as well as exploit the full potential of the shared portion of Zambezi River located along the common border between the two Countries is undertaking the development of the Batoka Gorge Hydro Electric Scheme (BGHES), 47 Km downstream of the Victoria Falls, along the Zambezi River.
The Zambezi River Authority (“the Authority”) intends to use part of the 2019 finance budget proceeds to cover eligible payments for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) and Direct Internet Access at sites in Zambia and Zimbabwe (the Contracting States).
This invitation for prequalification follows the procurement of supply and installation of an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) by the Zambezi River Authority.
