Zambezi River Authority is seeking highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced Zambian and Zimbabwean Nationals to fill two (2) positions of General Worker under the Projects and Dam Management Services Department, to be based in Kariba.
JOB PURPOSE
To carry out various general maintenance duties at the Kariba Dam, Authority premises and operate labour saving equipment of the Authority.
Under the supervision of the Artisan Dam Maintenance, the General Worker will carry out the following key responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance and cleaning duties at the Kariba Dam and other Authority establishments.
- Observing and promoting safety by cleaning the workspace and surrounding environment and appropriately handling equipment and tools.
- Assisting in the day-to-day office support functions, e.g., photocopying, filing and such like tasks.
- Operating labour saving equipment.
- Perform any other duties within the scope of the job as may be assigned from time to time by the Line Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
General Education:
- Three (3) ‘O’ Levels with credits/ “Cs”.

- Nil

- Minimum Experience: 1 year or basic understanding of the job
